Low.......Seeing Robinho being subbed at goodison, the indignity of it all.

High.......Waving goodbye to the nancy samba with middle finger raised and shouting `don`t fuckin bother comin back`.

High......must concur with OB on Barca game.

Low......Realising Gaz Baz might not be quite the player I thought he was....very good player don`t mistake me....but would love to have seen him be more of a playmaker. In fairness he was short of support there, other than NDJ, but I`m begining to compare him to fuckin Carrick.

Low......Has anybody seen Stevie?

High.....Love to be able to think of a comentator to nominate here but I`m sick of them all, If hear moneybags City one more time I`ll scream. So I guess I`ll have to go with that mexican guy GGGGGOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL, you know the guy?
I love Mancini, I have all his albums you know.

For top I have read "most important". In reverse order

5) spurs away - set the tone for the two clubs' seasons
4) Sunderland home- plucked a point from the jaws of defeat
3) spurs home - could have bottled after giving away a two goal lead but didn't
2) united home because it reined them in and
1) QPR home - it was more than just a game, 44 years of history was laid to rest. The consequences of failure are too horrendous to contemplate. so I won't.

I've gone for favourite 5:
QPR - H
Newcastle - A
Utd - A
Utd - H
Spurs - A

but all were important.

Could easily do a top 10: it has been a fantastic season, the best season in my time and I should think ever for City. We've watched the best team that City have had, IMO.

All those games have their moments and i think the notion of "best" will be subjective, and it seems biased towards what was at stake or how we felt as fans after those games, so totally understandable.

I will add the following 5 games to the mix, which potentially had less at stake but special for various reasons. Possibly even hints of signs of things to come as we would see elements over the coming weeks/months after these games:

1) Villarreal at home - the preview to what would come vs QPR, the dress rehearsal. Aguero got his lines right and put in a repeat vs QPR. Coming from behind vs underdogs when all looked lost. If this was the CL final and not a group game then im sure it would be further up many people's lists

2) Bayern at home - a preview of how we would play in our final 6 games (or sorry, final 5 before QPR). We can play when the pressure is off and match it with anyone. Mancini has been trying to instill an ambivalence to how we play at home and away, but we invariably performed the best when we were at home and had a weight lifted. Against possible European champs, but albeit a game that was a dead rubber, a clinical performance. Shaded by the fact they rested players

3) Porto away - possibly my favorite RESULT as this is the one that will define us and one we build off in coming years as Europe becomes the next level. Against the hardest side we could have drawn, a team essentially CL contenders, and potential to go back to back in the comp had we not stopped them, i thoroghly enjoyed this and would also be candidate for most professional performance.......discipline, tactics, drive, maturity

4) Sporting home - along the same lines as Villareal and QPR, as far as comebacks go the battle was won but we lost the war getting knocked out. Hart's header at the end would have seen the stadium go ballistic.......but we needed the energy saved for final day

5) Manure home FA Cup - while the big picture of the last 6 games after Arsenal defeat were telling, this game showed we had the bottle that only needed to be focused and harnessed over a prolonged period of time. Backs to the wall with 10 men and 3 goals down. I have our 4-3 comeback vs Spuds in 2004 high on my all time list of City games for similar reasons. We may have lost our title at the first hurdle but the way we fought and outplayed them for the rest of the game cannot be underestimated. Would we have gone onto beat Spurs in a few weeks if this game had ended 5-1 or 6-1? Im not so sure.......

Well thought out answer that PJ. As has been said, we could have picked 10.

On chronological order (and fuck 5):
> Spurs (away) - because of the statement we made
> United (away) - just because
> Arsenal (home) - because even for neutrals it was highly entertaining
> Spurs (home) - drama/excitement part 1.
> Porto (away) - signs of the progression that hopefully will continue in Europe next term
> United (home) - quater final to the title
> Newcastle (away) - semi-final to the title
> QPR (home) - final and won it in a historical way, probably never to be beaten; drama/excitement part 2
Bonus-track 1: United away at Sunderland after the final whislte - remember Laurel & Hardy
Bonus-track 2: Several video's on You Tube at City and Sunderland-games

This is all very subjective in what has been a terrific season. And I think I would have said the same thing if we'd lost it, only a few weeks later. No doubt we were the best side, despite dodgy refereeing descisions that often turned out critical for us (and United), despite the media, and ... here it comes: despite Tevez.
And you all know what: we're gonna be even better next term!

My five would be:

5) WBA home - Showed we could still do it on a night when the rags slipped up at Wigan. The start of the comeback!
4) QPR - ultimate delirium and euphoria, but not easy viewing for far too long!
3) Norwich away - a return to our earlier away form.
2) Spurs away - a real statement of intent that banished a few ghosts along the way
1) rags away - the game that ultimately won us the title

The rags home game and Newcastle away had many merits but for sheer enjoyment I have to go for the high scoring victories.

My next 5 - in no particular order - would be:

Porto - A
Norwich - A
Villarreal - H
Utd - FAC
Spurs - H

Reasons, as already stated by others. And there are still more games that count as stand out performances. Swansea at home, where we overcame vibrant newcomers and Kun announced himself to the English game. Sunderland for the come back in adversity. Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool at home.
