Hey, most of you know me as Middleton Daryl, or the angry City supporter in the Hatter. At any rate, although this isn't MCFC news, I wanted to share. My nephew Rhys (6 years old, living in Oldham with my brother & family), was invited to Blackburn's Centre of Excellence for 1 year. It's their pre-pre academy. Also, he had a match yesterday & my brother was approached by a Bolton scout asking about my nephew. Again, not MCFC news, but can you blame me for being a very proud uncle? Make no mistakes, at 6, he is already a die hard blue: to quote him ... "We don't like RED, do we dad?" So when you hear about Rhys Brown scoring a hat-trick in the CL final in 2028 to lead City to their 5th consecutive CL Cup, and the heroics of said City star in the WC for England in 2030, you can say you had a pint with that superstar's uncle.
