The last season has seen great strides both on and off the pitch in Manchester. In our own small way, we Blues in NY have also come on leaps and bounds. For the first time we have our own headquarters at the Hatter, and as a result our numbers have skyrocketed (it was either that or the chef putting black pudding back on the menu). Due to the recent articles about us on the Club’s official Website and the Match Day program, word of our existence is spreading and we regularly have many Blues visiting from around the globe (we're not just from Stockport, Langley and the Moss anymore). It’s our hope in years to come, that whenever a City fan thinks of New York, they think of the Mad Hatter Saloon & Beer Garden and the warm welcome that awaits them.
That doesn't mean you can kip on my couch though. You may be a Scouse with a sky blue scarf and the ability to speak properly. Next thing you know I wake up to find there's just a space on the wall where my bleeding plasma used to be and a forget-me-not bobbing in the khazi. Nevertheless, unless easily offended, please visit our Forum and let us know if you plan to come over, and for which game you will be in town for. If you have already been, and watched a match with us, drop us a line and let us know how it went. If you have any photos, submit them for inclusion in our gallery, just so long as none of them make me look fat if I'm in 'em. Or maybe you just want to connect with followers of God’s own Club, other self-mutilators that share that same masochistic streak so common in City fans. If so, dive in by all means. All we ask is you refrain from using words like, bollocks, gobshite, wanker, knob jockey, dickhead, arseface, cheating bleeder or any of those other terrible hurtful words that are normally used in describing the Chuckles, Sir Osis or the Gyppo, however, stupid ugly bastards, cheesedick, bacon-faced pisstank and twisted pikey turd are fine. It’s our view that if you're Sky Blue, you'll do. Unless of course you are a Coventry City fan, in which case you have our deepest sympathy.
Come on in...the craic’s lovely,
Cheers, Jonesey
